Are you the only one making an effort in your relationships?

Sometimes we all need a reminder every now and again. So here is your reminder to let that relationSHIP sink like the titanic, if you are the only one maintaining it. Some things are simply too big for one person to maintain alone. Let me hold your hand while I say this, conserve your energy for those tasks and people who deserve it. Let the people, idea, project, event, task, and whatever else is consuming your time … drop off into the abyss (if it is on the verge of taking you overboard with it). Everything can not be on you to start. Everything can not be on you to hold together. For some this message will resonate immediately, for others it will seem harsh but I promise you they will be fine. Whatever that thing is that someone needed or wanted to borrow or requested you do for is not life or death AND you are likely not the only thing or person holding it all together. Now, in case that I am wrong, let me add that one sole person SHOULD NOT have been the only thing keeping things afloat.
